I had a nail in my new tyre, i tryed getting it plugged but no one would do it for me, very unsafe apparently to plug bike tyres, likerly to have a tyre blow out. Better be safe than sorry

I got a plug in my bike tyre, had it in when i bought it and caused me no issues, was done professionally.

I posted up here at the time and everyone seemed to think it was OK. It was in te centre if the tread. Upto you see what tyre place says.

You can plug a bike tyre if the puncture is in the centre of the tread.

Whilst i wouldn't say that it would be as safe as an undamaged tyre, they seem to hold up fine.

Yeah pretty much, there are liability issues though. When I went to the local one to get mine plugged he said he only did it because I took him the loose tyre, wouldn't have touched it if it was still on the bike.

The British Standard for tyre repair says that ZR rated tyres should not be repair. Of course they can....
