Jelly Rabbit?

My daughters been ill, so I took the day off work to be with her
We made some chocolate cookies this morning, from a women's institute recipie:D (yummie, those old birds new what they were doing)
and then we made some jelly.
Green jelly in a thin metal mold, in the shape of a rabbit
every thing went OK, it set OK,
But my question is..

How on earth do you get it out of the mold without scrambling it?

Matilda was a little upset, so Daddy said he would consult the fountain of knowledge:notworthy:

Assuming it's properly set, surely just flip and tap it?

That's what we tried
The suction was soo much, it wouldn't release
until more frantic shaking and tapping resulted in the jelly reaching its yield stress resulting in a mushy mess:(

I just called a girl i know, apparently you should put the outside of the mould in hot water and it will slide out.

I don't know if that will work for sure. :)

Yeh, it will. Then stick it back in the fridge for a bit. Should do the trick

I will try that
The warmth may melt the jelly again
I should have thought of that
Thanks:D

Used to pour the kettle over the metal mould, then lift it off

Definitely put the mould in warm water to release it!

Obviously I don't mean submerge it, keep the "entrance" to the mould above the water does not contact the jelly....

+1 on the warm water on the out side of the mold then turn onto plate.
