The Clutch Lever !

I have been giving my bike a good check over and noticed that there is maybe 1cm of free play in the clutch lever before it meets resitence, is this normal? as I havnt noticed it before. It doesnt feel unusual or any different to normal, I think i just havnt noticed it. Its not got the adjuster like the other side.

Anyone able to clarify?
