Lowsliding in the wet...

Poo end to a good day as I managed to low slide my bike less than a mile from home. Road was wet, went round the roundabout and as i came off it I felt the rear wheel slip. Anyway, bike slid to the other side of the road and me following it. Must have only been going 15mph, but thankfully no cars coming the other way and thanks to protective leather.

There was a really sweet nurse in the next car that came along who insisted the ambulance be called. All ok, just a bruised knee and damage to the bike. Defo an insurance jobby.

Oh and police were round and I was then breathalised, formality apparently.

Ride safe everyone it's wet out there!

it's routine procedure to breathlise anyone involved in an accident, so no suprise they turned up to see you

other than that, sucks to drop your bike but at least you're ok, the bike can be fixed:)

Ah crap, glad you're ok, roundabouts are rubbish on a rainy day, all the fuel and crap tends to end up around them.

Glad your ok though and hope the bike will be ok also.
