Emergency help required

I've just got home from work on my bike and discovered I am missing a rather important part of my bike.

I seem to have lost the oil filler cap. I'm sure you can imagine what the state of my bike and left leg was like.

Is there anyone that has a spare filler cap that I can borrow until I have ordered a new one :?:

If you have, I wonder if you would fancy a ride up to my house so I can fit it and get to work tomorrow :?: I'll obviously pay your fuel costs.

Many thanks from the newly crowned 'stoopid' person.

Many thanks in advance.

Si.

1. Go to kitchen.
2. Find cork.
3. Push cork in hole.
4. Consider whether cork good enough fit.
4.1 If yes then go to 5.
4.2 If no then Gaffa tape over cork.
5. Be pleased at your resourcefulness.
6. Ride bike to work.

I had already thought of that. Damn it for not being a wine drinker. I think I shall have to go door to door asking if they drink wine.

If I had one I would gladly let you have it. If it's any help I have the day off tomorrow so you can borrow my Hornet if you like?

Likewise, you can use my Ninja if you can get over to Bracknell..

Round my house there is always plenty of things I can use to shove in a hole.

Thanks all for your generous offers to help.

In short, I found a cork. It was still attached to the bottle of red. The conditions of being given the cork was that I had to help empty the contents of the bottle. This I managed to achieve quite quickly.

I was then asked if I needed another cork. Just in case the first one didn't work. I have accepted the offer of the second cork. (can't be too careful). Result of which means that I am too busy to clean the up the rear brake I have already dismantled and may have a few coordination problems later to complete.

This also means I am about to send an email to my boss letting him know I shall be late for work tomorrow.

All in all. It's going to be a good night.

Stuff work, this is far more fun.

Sweet lord.

"Safe" it is not.

You're lucky you didn't get stopped by the law otherwise it would've been a long walk home....

How far did you ride it?
