How Far do you go

Ok just put a new set of tyres on my bike, and as usual im always suprised how bad the handling had become on the old tyres.

So how worn do you let them get? are you a down to the cords rider
Or do you get them changed when they are prity well squared off.

I change the rear when it's square, but no cordage.

wise man! a guy on another forum posted a picture of his last tyre before he changed it! and it was total cordage right round! brave or daft you decide.

Well having a look at my blog... 9000 miles and nice and square... and the fronts was nicely squared off on the right after 13000 odd miles.

I thought it handled OK myself, Just meant I lent it into the corners more to use the unworn bits of tyre. Though I must admit it did track abit what with the square front as well.
