SV1000 engine

i am getting bored of my 650 engine and thought that maybe i could upgrade the engine to an sv1000. is this a wise idea ? i wouldnt want to get rid of the bike becauseof all the mods its got done to it.

the engine has gas flowed heads and k+n air filter. is there anything that i could do now to spruce it up a tad more?

i would like abit more power really top end preferably. i have got quick shift also

Don't fit in what way?

Just curious really. I would imagine its the mounting points not the overall size; so where it is wrong, could it be made to fit, frame extentions fabricated, or what size hammer would be required? Like I say, just curious.

You can swap the intake cams from a later fuel injected engine and move your existing intakes to the exhaust side, for a few extra bhp. Usually hard to get hold of, but if you can find an engine with a lunched bottom end then it is a good/cheap mod. Have a look here:

But that defeats the object. At the moment I'm considering a Blade engined NC23 :geek:
