Re: Exhaust Baffles?
Do you have to drill a hole in your can to fit these? Or can you attach them some other way?
|
Re: Exhaust Baffles?
Yup you need a bolt-hole afaik
Some cans have a circlip inside, but that takes a bit of precision to work without rattling all over the place. |
Re: Exhaust Baffles?
most if not all have removable exhausts.........i think..
if yours has been removed then the hole should still be there, if not, well out with the drill... |
Re: Exhaust Baffles?
Sod that then, not putting holes in my art can :p Would have kept it under the seat incase of getting pulled over.

I've got an ART can on my bike (fitted with no original when i bought it) and it would have failed the MOT if I hadn't had one of these. It just slipped in (oo-er) and my bike passed without having to secure it properly. You are supposed to drill a small hole to keep it in place with a bolt (provided). I think mine cost about £12 posted from a supplier in UK. Just google DB Killer or Decibel Killer and have a look. Why do you want to make it quieter? |
Re: Exhaust Baffles?
Nah, unless the MOT tester was a tosser you'd probably have gotten an advisory.
Wanted it just incase, same reason I carry around my clear visor during the day time. |
