no bike tax reminder?
 

i just noticed i have no tax! the tax expired end of may and i have had no reminder? i've just been on DVLA and taxed it online, is there any penalty for not taxing on time?

If it only expires end of May, you will not have got a reminder yet. I didn't think you could tax online it more than 15 days in advance

I also thought there was a grace period where you'd be OK, but I'm not 100% sure on this.

I think they have a 15 day grace period, don't quote me on this though.

urban myth mate.
I got stopped last year on the 2nd of the month while stopping at the post office,to get my tax.I was given a stern talking to.

Should be ok, was only a couple of days.
I've sorned cars that were a month out of date with no comeback so don't worry.
