Is the plan to get yourself & bike to the US and by the time you both get there you'll be healed and ready to ride again?

the bike's going to get shipped to the UK, it's at the crating agent. On Tuesday it's off to the logistics people.

I'm going to get to the UK when it's all sorted & heal up for a few weeks, by which time the bike will be back & I'll source some new trim, mirrors, beak & horn. I'll try to then sell the bike & take it from there.

The US is one option. India's another, Kuala Lumpar et al is another.

Ah, so really it's like a different adventure? So you are planning on doing this bike-less, or buying a bike wherever you end up?

What about fly to somewhere, buy a bike, cross the country, sell it, buy another in next country etc? Probably logistically hard.
