It only affects a ever increasing minority nowadys. My mum has to work every bank holiday for no extra, yet her staff get paid double time and i am sure that there are a lot of people in the same boat. I dont work bank holidays so woudl benefit.
So im pretty much torn.

I only get two days off. Christmas day and Boxing day. All other days are normal working days. I want a day off, it comes out of my entitlement. Still who wants to be stuck on a motorway with everyone else on bank holidays. I will take my days when you lot are at work

Since I work in a bank, done :smt003 I'd probably have to work them anyway but I'd get time and a half so it's all good.
