Northie's gloop

The gloop Northie suggested for the front ign plug cap seal worked perfectly during our recent Euro tour. Had a good testing too - Rode in rain for most of the 2000+miles we did, including day long drizzle in Central massif and huge storms over Pyrenees. The SV didn't falter once. :D

His special sauce that he has to 'deliver' personally ;)

The grease you need is part number RE90X, Maplins website shows an aerosol but it's a tube.

Silicon grease be the stuff.

I put rubber grease on mine because I had nothing else and it worked alright.
