who remember the MZ

Saw one of these today.MZ 1000s, I have never seen one before and it got alot of attention at Weston Bike Night. Any thoughts? |

Apart from the (gag!) parallel twin engine, and the sub-comstar wheels its got a lot of cool design.... unfortunately from 10yr ago, when the original/radical design 1st got seen! The pre-production bikes were finished to a high standard. A shame, think it took too long to put into production and get a reasonable dealer network together.
Never seen one on the road. Are MZ still on the go? |

Looks intriguing, the front is a bit different eh...
And I've never seen the chain on that side of the bike, perhaps I'm just ignorant :-k |

I has a MZ125ETZ years ago , which the engine seized and locked the back wheel & had me off .

I think there was one on one of the ecosse rideouts a couple of years ago, cant remeber whos it was though
