:confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused:[/quote] it would depend on how good the deal would be on the newer bike???and how much you will get in on your own bike.and then its up 2 your self really wot do you prefer the pointy or the curvy. ;) |
Re: What To Do !!!!!!
Why are you bored of your current SV, what mods have you done to it so far.
I've ridden both pointy and curvey SV's, I prefer the riding position and the looks of the pointy. Theres naff all IMHO to choose between the two of them so its down to looks and personal choice. Suspension upgrades make a massive difference to the way that the bike feels to ride, if you havent done it, thats what I'd be doing to your SV. You can do it cheaply and it really is a worthwhile ugprade IMHO. |
Re: What To Do !!!!!!
It depends on what bores you about your current bike, if its performance then a newer shape sv wont be any different.
They look better though. ;) |
Re: What To Do !!!!!!
Bored?
Go find some new roads. Or do some trackdays. Or try racing ;) |

Re: What To Do?
If you are bored of a curvy, how is a pointy going to scratch that its (after the the first week of having the same thing, but shiny).

Re: What To Do?
I doubt I'd ever have owned an SV if the pointy shape had been the only one available when I got mine, which would have been a shame as both models feel about the same to ride, I just don't think Suzuki got the styling quite right with the newer shape to be honest (if you're going to do shape, do shape, not round off the corners), the curvy frame has a more "crafted" look and with lowers it looks really good IMO, like most things it was the looks that got me interested in the first place.
I really can't see much point in changing to a pointy unless your bike is getting on a bit and in need of major work or something, some many mods out there already, just choose the one's you like. Cheers Mark. |
