White T-Shirts???
 

Was out earlier (most of the day in fact) and saw lots of poeple wearing white t-shirts over their leathers. Just wondering if anyone knows why/who/what etc etc?

They seemed to be heading through Harrogate heading Skipton way...just wondering if I missed out on anything?! :p

reflects the heat off their black leathers and keeps them cool, perhaps?

Boundary 500 people I think, saw a couple up on Teesside at 6.50 am as I drove to work.

The white T-shirts are worn in support of the guy who is going to John O groats and back on a 50cc moped . The shirts themselves are supporting his charity which is all three of the norths air ambulances .
If you look closely you can see a picture of the helicopter inside a red circle on the chest

P.S. they all met up at Tan Hill ,which lies between brough and richmond ,today . I saw about 50 or so all together .

I would have said Boundary 500 as there were 162 people taking part on Saturday in riding around the North. I was supposed to be there!

Thanks for clearing that up. Got a little confused when there seemed to be loads of bikes going in one direction and me and my dad going in the other!!!

Tis also a lot easier to wash a T shirt covered in flies than it is to clean your leathers of the little buggers :)
