How to get there...
Traveling north
1. Leave the A69 at Acomb (near Hexham) follow the signs to Bellingham joining the B6320 to Chollerford. Traveling north via the village of Wark, drive into Bellingham village centre, turn right at Lloyds TSB Bank. The camp site is 100 metres on the right.

2. Leave the A69 at the Corbridge slip road, at this point you will join the A68. Travel north on the A68 for about 12 miles until for see a sign on your left which directs you to Redesmouth and Bellingham. Drive through Redesmouth and as you reach the outskirts of Bellingham you will pass the school. The campsite is 400 metres further on the left.

Traveling south
Leave the A68 at Otterburn turning right onto the B6320 road to Bellingham. Drive into the village centre turning left after Lloyds TSB Bank. The campsite is 100 metres on the right.

So Who coming....?

ok here is the route for the Saturday run

Anti clockwise loop 161 miles with 3 main scenic stops, 1st stop is up a loose gravel track to overview Kielder lake (bring your camera's) second stop is St mary's Loch (food and beverages, can be pricey as it's a captive markek circa 5 to 8 quid for a decent nosh) then onto the buddhist temple (i have not been yet so will have to find it at eskdalemuir (LOL) ) and then back to Bellingham, most of the route is on fairly decent roads plenty of twisty bits, although the run around st mary's watch your speed (scottish police can be a pain ( no offence to independant photo LOL) )

on the Sunday i have other routes in mind that most people will be able to cover on the way back home. namely hartside and surrounding area.

Ooh................does that mean you're going to be cooking us all breakfast?:D

I have no objection to rustling up a few bacon and/or egg sarnies............as long as someone else does the washing up after. I hate washing up:D

So, bike has had new tyres. 12 month MOT effective today. Oil/filter change yesterday. Insurance is only due in October. 12 month tax beginning of this month. Full tank of fuel.

So to do.

Check tyre pressure/ inflate if required.
Pack a few tools
Pack bag/affix to bike.

Very tempted, but I think I'll stick to my original plan.

Your route seems more fun than the one I had in mind, so I'll probably nick it. :)

Give me a wave if you spot me.:smt039

Lol. Nah, I aint dissing you.

Will be doing the Lakes on Friday and was going to basically stick to A roads in the Scottish Borders on Saturday, then through the Lakes again on Sunday on my way home.
