Most likely but that depends, it may have been bought and registered in 2002 but it could have been surplus stock (i.e a 2000 or 2001 model)!

Have you owned the bike from new and do you have preload adjusters on the front forks?

if the bike is a genuine 2002 model then yes its a K2 but it could be a 00 or 01 but only got registered in 02 so ther for it wouldnt be a K2 etc...

More conclusive than the pre- load adjusters are the fairing graphics. Different design for the 2002 models I believe.

The silver wheels and engine cases have it as a K1/K2, according to the FAQ on the main site:

As for the split between K1 & K2 it's going to come down to a very good knowledge of graphics, pre-load adjustors or actually checking the frame number or the V5 document model, depending on how certain you need to be.

Pic of my 2001 fairing graphic. If it's a later bike it should be silver and a slightly different design. Of course they may not be the original panels either.:confused:
