New Bike!

I hope, I'm still welcome here after what I've done. I've sold my SV.

I'll get my new bike before the weekend. http://www.biker-babe.org/yabb_htm/YaBBImages/grin.gif http://www.biker-babe.org/yabb_htm/YaBBImages/grin.gif http://www.biker-babe.org/yabb_htm/YaBBImages/grin.gif
Here comes the story: About a month ago I saw a bike on the motorway going past my car and I fell instantly in love. I didn't recognise, what it was and it took me some time going through photos on the internet to find out.

It was a new Kawasaki Z750 in orange metallic.

I've been to a dealer on Sunday, got a good part ex deal and he'll deliver my new bike on Thursday or Friday.

I'm so exited.

Yeah you should have got a Z1000 :)

I reckon those naked Z's look nice in the orange. They really stand out with that styling and colour scheme.

Obviously designed by a different person to the faired Z's, cos the faired Z's are butt ugly nowadays!!!

Welcome to the Zed Squad.

Ignore Neio - he mistook the Kawasaki Email for a "Make your bits bigger" Spam, and ended up with the ZX-6R - try not to be too unkind to him.....

I also decided on the 750 - the 1000 just didnt seem to be worth the money, and a friend who saw one in the wild figured that the integrated indies on the radiator fairings made them look a bit lardy.

Have fun, and enjoy :)

Soulkiss has one of the new 2007+ bikes
Skip has one of the earlier ones (S version)

You're in good company. Soulkiss was kind enough to let me ride his Z750 a while back, while the suspension's on the squidgy side, it's actually quite well composed, and you can adjust it to a point anyway. The motor is lovely, as is the fueling which is very very smooth. Good bike! Best of luck!

Yeah, the suspension is a little soft, but I knew that going into it - and the £1500 I saved on not getting the Z1000 can go to the likes of Mr Ohlins :)

Oh and there is also a new Zed owner on the board, pre-07 naked model, but he's keeping it quiet at the moment :)
