1 cyander down and rev counter not working ? my fix
 

had problem with 1 cylander down and rev counter not working started intermittent them stopped altogether , this is my first week on bikes so abit nervous about doing it my self , but no problem easy to work on sorted problem in minutes . the problem was yellow and black wire had come loose then off on front coil , nipped up with pliers then reattached then it started first time and runs better than when i first got it

ok sorry not read all of the stuff posted just wanted to sort thanks would of said your fix if i had read it prop. happy as owt can go out on bike again tomorrow :p:p:p:p, had to drag out the family citroen picasso today felt like hanging me self

Very common this, especially when putting the airbox and tank back on.
