Heel plate getting mashed

Is it just me, or does everyone's heel plate get mashed like this?

I realise it's my boots http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...mpetizione.jpg, however most pics I see of people's bikes have nice shiny heel plates, do most of you wear slippers when riding :confused:

yep they did on the SV and they do on the Kwak as well, you cant avoid it. cheap enough to replace though .

I wouldent, just saying they are so cheap that you could afford to replace them every year or so if you wanted.
