.ORG exclusive bikesafe day, Ace cafe, 4th October
 

Hello all. I've been onto the Bikesafe London team and have reserved a day for fellow orgers to do the day course from the Ace cafe. I know there are a few on here who want to do it. 21s or under should get it for free courtesy of a large donation from a family and the tokens the Ace gave out on the Southend Shakedown should be accepted.

I've confirmed with Mr. Plod that race cans, small number plates, tax not being displayed and dark visors WILL BE OVERLOOKED as long as they're not extreme; i.e. ear bleeding cans or matchbox/wide thin number plates. They will check over the bikes to make sure nothing's hanging off and they'll check your insurance too.

The cost is £30 and it's on a Saturday so hopefully will accomodate everyone. Lunch is included too. It's on a first come first served basis. Hopefully we'll be able to fill it.

It's a good day out and it will either confirm that you're ok on the road or lacking in areas.

P.S. When I done it a few years back the course cost me £30 and I saved £60 on insurance.

Just add guys I have now done 2 bikesafe days from the Ace, they are dam good fun, for newbie like me I did learn useful skills,which I am using now when I ride.

Not much point in me coming on one now, as I have done 2 I need to carry on to IAM now. But you can't go wrong its a fun day out, so yes from my experince go for it!

Are you sure its a saturday? Because I thought I booked mine on a saturday, but it turns out they dont do saturdays, they do sundays

I'd like to do another bikesafe day, but maybe in another couple of years

Yep, I'm up for this if I can find my voucher.......done one before and it was useful and another wouldn't hurt.

I seriously doubt I'll be paying a copper to follow me thanks.

Not that I'm perfect of course, just I already know my faults and they are alot less than some.
