stubby - convince me
My bikes gonna get the voice it needs, but im unsure which direction to go. Ive seen two bikes on here with unnamed carbon super stubby tri-ovals from ebay and ive contacted the ebay seller to confirm business/shipping. They look loverly but i would love to hear a sound bite / video of them. Over here (ireland) we dont have any real m.o.t or sound laws, so the louder the better:D . are these types of exhausts better sounding than the likes of similar priced beowulf and fuel??? cheers - ps-2000 curvy

Re: stubby - convince me
Stubbies sound better, end of.
However, be careful in buying carbon. The V twin engine can destroy carbon exhausts and very few manufacturesrs will warrant them for longer than 12 months. Scorpion put ceramic insert in theirs and warrant them for life, however if you stubby one of theirs I am sure you would invalidate the warranty. I have just heard of a Street Extreme breaking up and the owner is sending it back for repair/replacement under warranty. TBH, I have a Fuel stainless which I stubbied myself and it sounds lovely so I would say if you are stubbying it to get a stainless and reduce the risk of it being killed by the engine. |
Re: stubby - convince me
Sound recording NEVER do a V-twin justice!
