Just bought a Viper can

.. but also just found out I need a link pipe:(

I thought because my bike has had a can put on by a previous owner (it's been cut and joined) I wouldn't need anything but the new can.

Wrong!

Is there a quick alternative fix or am I going to have to fork out more cash for a pipe?

No quick fix unfortunately.

Got a used low level link pipe for an SV for £15 including postage if interested.
