Almost road legal.
Well, it's only been a couple of months so far...
Just the electrics to wire up and she's good to go... http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/2...50smallxz9.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/8...51smallvw1.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/5...52smallil8.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/3...56smallpk5.jpg :rave: |
Re: Almost road legal...
Nice, what electrics are required to make it road legal, a brake light??

however i will be installing a brake light as a minimum, as i ride with a big guy who has a 950SM, and the last thing either of us needs is him collecting me when i brake too early for a corner, plus the blind elderly island drivers would get confused and run me over:rolleyes: |
Re: Almost road legal...
If you have a brake light on your bike, the police will expect you to have headlights if they want to be picky.
Its all or none. But I'm sure mostcoppers wouldn't worry about it. |

Could I come and have a go once it's done? Or on the DRZ? I'm not picky! :)
Seriously though, one day I WILL have a supermoto, and the world will be a better place... =D |
Re: Almost road legal...
I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but I'm sure you do not require a headlight as long as the bike is registered for daylight use only.
