My Curvey (stick a new front end on or use it for spares)

As some of you know, I had a close encounter of the van kind this week and I've decided to take a break from biking for a while (until I can afford it again).:(

So by Curvey is up for sale. BIKE STILL FOR SALE

Top Box sold

UPDATE: The bike is still for sale and I will be bringing it down South with me next weekend (will be in the South for the whole of Sept).

1999 SV650S in blue (the rear panels are good and the tank is savageable).

As far as I can tell, the frame is fine as is the engine and everything back from there.

The front is totalled, although the brake callipers and front discs look fine.

It has a pair of brand new Bridgestone BT021's on (only done about 200 miles and were fitted last Saturday).

Anyway, here are some piccies:

Firstly, sorry to hear you had an accident - hope you are ok.
Secondly, Is the topbox & rack to attach it to the bike available?

PM sent

Bad luck mate... You selling it as a whole or you going to split it?

Just out of interest, how much for the whole bike (Minus the rack if someone else wants it)?

I'll buy the whole thing off you if you want to sell it as one.

I'd like to sell it as a whole if possible.

The topbox and rack will go seperately though.

If you're interested, drop me an offer by PM.

The trailer will also be for sale as without a bike, I haven't got a lot of use for it at the moment.

James, least hassle option would be selling complete especially if one hasn't got much spare time to fraff with.

Breaking can take up a lot of time/space and the parts that usually get you the money to break even are damaged ie tanks, plastics, forks....

Depending on what you would be happy with or offered for the bike , might still be worth the time involved with breaking a bike.

If you decide to break, start with the engine and only start selling other parts once the engine is gone. One of the benefits of that is, folks can actually hear the engine running.
Engine should get you the bulk of any money and you can take your time gettign rid of the rest.

How many miles has the engine done?
