Removing Seat Unit 02 Curvy
Hi guys, just had a quick browse through the forums and i can't find anything in particular on removing the seat unit.
What happened, as stupid as it is, is that i put my house keys under my seat and they slid forwards so i now can't get to them. So i'm resorting to taking the seat unit off unless i get another suggestion?! So basically was wondering how i would go about doing it? Its dark so i can't look outside as i don't have a good enough torch to see anything! Cheers guys Stu |
Re: Removing Seat Unit 02 Curvy
allen key for the black plastic grill thingy each side, then a bigger allen key for the seat
oh, there may be some little black grommets on the plastic things easy |
Re: Removing Seat Unit 02 Curvy
Oh right, thought it'd be harder than that tbh. Cheers Hovis

Re: Removing Seat Unit 02 Curvy
that will just take the riders seat off........
not sure where your keys are, if you need to remove the whole tail section, its just 4 or 6 bolts (i think) on a curvy is it pointy or curvy? |
Re: Removing Seat Unit 02 Curvy
Its a curvy. I'm hoping that by taking the seat off I'll be able to reach around and grab the keys. If not then if it's only a few bolts I'll whip the whole thing off. Should be straightforward i assume :-)
