Scotland Holiday
I thought I'd post some pictures from my holiday up in Scotland.
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...8/IMG_0452.jpg Hiking in Glencoe http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...8/IMG_0476.jpg My son Sean showing he can do a fisherman's job http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...8/IMG_0497.jpg My attempt at a lunge on top of an SV http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Picture039.jpg Meeting up with bikers at Devil's bridge on our way to Scotland from Manchester on a nice and sunny Saturday. I can't thank LissaS and her boyfriend enough for taking the time and meeting us up there. The gods payed her well for her kind gesture by providing such a nice day. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Picture042.jpg Sean finds his dream bike, the owner lets him ride it but keeps the key in his pocket. Good thing he did. We would still be looking for him if he hadn't. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Picture058.jpg LissaS said this sounds like a bag of spanners but to be honest I dream of having one in my garage. It looks the proper bike to me and sounds great when rev'd, not so great when idle, yes it does sound like a bag of spanners then. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Picture059.jpg Another desirable bike. Some very nice bikes showed up at the bridge. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Picture060.jpg No wonder Northy is so crazy about his country, you can drive for days let alone ride especially when the weather is this nice. That's us in a rented Golf GTI which was a blast. I had an accident on the last day in Scotland when I clipped a curb at 90ish as an opposing car was a bit too much in the center of the road coming into a sharp corner and managed successfully to avoid it. Burst the front passenger tire and had to drive on a flat for about a mile before finding a good safe spot to stop and change it for the spare. Thank god nobody got hurt, it was a close shave. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...8/IMG_0590.jpg Up up and away! Happy that we're alive :) http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...8/IMG_0601.jpg So's Mrs Z. Somebody please tell her she's a grandma now. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Picture104.jpg My daughter Stephanie getting ready for the worse before climbing up the mountain. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Picture105.jpg Youngest son Samuel and Steph's boyfriend Andrew seem to have quickly become two of the locals. |
