Scotland Holiday

I thought I'd post some pictures from my holiday up in Scotland.

Meeting up with bikers at Devil's bridge on our way to Scotland from Manchester on a nice and sunny Saturday. I can't thank LissaS and her boyfriend enough for taking the time and meeting us up there. The gods payed her well for her kind gesture by providing such a nice day.

Sean finds his dream bike, the owner lets him ride it but keeps the key in his pocket. Good thing he did. We would still be looking for him if he hadn't.

LissaS said this sounds like a bag of spanners but to be honest I dream of having one in my garage. It looks the proper bike to me and sounds great when rev'd, not so great when idle, yes it does sound like a bag of spanners then.

Another desirable bike. Some very nice bikes showed up at the bridge.

No wonder Northy is so crazy about his country, you can drive for days let alone ride especially when the weather is this nice. That's us in a rented Golf GTI which was a blast. I had an accident on the last day in Scotland when I clipped a curb at 90ish as an opposing car was a bit too much in the center of the road coming into a sharp corner and managed successfully to avoid it. Burst the front passenger tire and had to drive on a flat for about a mile before finding a good safe spot to stop and change it for the spare. Thank god nobody got hurt, it was a close shave.

Up up and away! Happy that we're alive :)

So's Mrs Z. Somebody please tell her she's a grandma now.

Youngest son Samuel and Steph's boyfriend Andrew seem to have quickly become two of the locals.

You bet! So much we wanted to stay for good. Nobody wants to employ a mad biker graphic designer up north though.

I'm guessing it's the M6 in Cumbria.

Nice pics! Glad you enjoyed your break.
