I hate it, Ihate it!
Moving house!!
:mad: Moved over 90% of the stuff into storage just got the loft and a few bits downstairs to do. Been sleeping on the couch for the past 4 days while missus and baba have been at my parents. (Couch is staying if your wondering) One good thing, making a saving of £900 a month while staying at my parents, downside is that i'm staying at my parents. They are driving me mad and i'm not even there yet. |

Re: I hate it, Ihate it!
Through experience, I'd say the most important thing is to not fall-out with your other half. It's stressful for both of you. I nearly got divorced when we moved all through getting far too stressed-out :)
I feel your pain, though. |
Re: I hate it, Ihate it!
So are you moving house or moving back in with your olds and the olds thing is just an interim/convenience whilst you move?
Just think, at £900 saving/months, if you can string the move out for a few more months, you can afford a NEW bike!! ;) ... just keep that end goal in mind next time you want to strangle ya mum! |
Re: I hate it, Ihate it!
I fully sympathise my small little shoe box of a "flat" is currently filled to the brim with boxes whilst I try to sort it all out to pack... I understand now why people pay good money to have someone else do this all for you!

Re: I hate it, Ihate it!
i moved from scotland in July to Guildford for 2 weeks then from guildford to aldershot. Im never moving again. Left so much of my stuff behind as I sold my flat to an investment company for a huge loss so decided they could afford to get someone in to clear up my mess. did the move whilst pregnant which was a pain as I was not supposed to lift anything - kept forgetting.
when your parents are annoying you just head down the pub with a saving of £900 a month you can afford to. good luck |
Re: I hate it, Ihate it!
I've moved 5 times in 20 years, pain in the flippin' **** and totally out of my control  .... can't stand it but won't mind at all when I actually get round to moving into my own place :smt026
