The Jungle Book 1967

Is anyone familiar with the original Disney production of this film and more importantly, can anyone remember the song "That's what friends are for" sung by the vultures.

Are the vultures voiced by The Beatles??? Just curious.

The beatles were originally supposed to play vulture characters but had to pull out last minute cos of other commitments. Dont know who played them in the end

I'm sure John Lennon did one of them. Either that or a really good impression.

The Vultures were originally going to be voiced by the Beatles but due to a change in schedule, they dropped out at the last minute. The song was sung by Chad Stuart, Lord Tim Hudson, Digby Wolfe, Thurl Ravenscroft and Bruce Reitherman

Disney released a special edition boxed set of this with hours and hours of special features on the making of the film. Really fascinating stuff and of course it is the best animated film ever! :)

Trace :)
