Suzuki SFV 650 Gladius
Found this on the web :D
 a melted SV... Probably the most interesting aspect is that it combines Japanese technology and reliability with European styling, something that can never lead to failure even on such a competitive market. It features a low seat height and a fuel injected, twin plug head engine which is tuned for low-to-mid range torque, making it perfect commuter for female riders and for beginners in generally. Handling is easy and the design modern and attractive although Suzuki implemented less expensive elements in order to keep production costs down. For example, the frame is made out of both aluminum and steel." http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/mod...50_gladius.htm http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gal...%20Gladius.jpg http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gal...009%20%201.jpg http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gal...009%20%202.jpg http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gal...009%20%203.jpg http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gal...009%20%204.jpg http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gal...009%20%205.jpg |

Re: Suzuki SFV 650 Gladius
Hey, I'd not seen the clocks before, either I've not been paying attention or this is a repost with actual merit! :D They are a remarkable blend of quite cool, and fisher price plasticky. Look kind of like Koso aftermarkets actually.

Re: Suzuki SFV 650 Gladius
Nice bike - i can imagine it selling well. But they nicked the SV's twin, that just aint right.
Not only that but theyve gone too Z-1000 with the exhaust. Cant imagine the seat would be too comfy either. Also too CB-500 with the wheels. Other than that nice flowing lines, aesthetically pleasing (although id never ride another naked after my GS500E). This bike gets a 6/10 from me. |
Re: Suzuki SFV 650 Gladius

Re: Suzuki SFV 650 Gladius
According to a review in MCM “It’s aimed at novice riders… women”. Also “… it is more easy to ride”, “… lower seat”, “All the engine parts are new, nothing has been carried over from the SV650” and “… better stability and handling”. Think GS500 with extra grunt I suppose.
Next time someone says you are riding a girls bike just say “No, that’s the SFV650, the F in the name is for female”.;) |
Re: Suzuki SFV 650 Gladius
Yep saw the clocks on another thread and did mention that they look not to bad. Mod for a naked curvy?
