Has a Pointy ever broken down?

Except for ones run on no oil.

I don't think I've ever seen a thread on here about a Pointy not running well?

Mine never battered an eye lid with mostly spirited riding.

It was obviously why I started the thread. & Dave maybe not, but I spend a helluva lot of time on here & haven't seen any that I can remeber so if anyone has spare time & knows what they are looking for & I'm willing to follow any links :)

LP yes ;) Rider error  and neither problem was difficult to fix or required a thread to diagnose the problem unlike the countless ones for Curvies with carb icing, stuck choke plungers, wiring loom catastrophes etc.

What defines broken down? Engine failure or any fault? As if I have a flat tyre, is that 'broken down'?
