Best palm pilot'y thing to look for
 

I'm still a big fan of my Psion3, use it all the time, but I'd like to try out something with a note scribbling function.

I think the palm pilot series used to do this, looking for a model thats in mono, dont need colour backlit battery gobbling, can scribble freehand notes and diagrams then save them.

Back in the stone age black and white days, I had something called an Apple Newton, size of a brick mind, but it did everything you wanted and nothing else.

What model(s) should I be spending a hard earned tenner on ebay with?

don't think you'll get much for a tenner!
you may be able to pick up a palm type device which will do what you want. l can reccomnd a Sony - if you can find something liKe the SJxx series you'll be laughing.
