Safety camera vans!!!!!!
 

Just think I've got a ticket on the way as I passed a safety camera van parked on a bridge above a section of dual carriageway. Just got my licence clean after 4 years with no tickets! Plus it was the only section of road that my Zafira can get up enough speed to exceed the speed limit. The rest of the road is single carriageway,and it hasn't got the get up and go to overtake anything.

What bugs me is fair do's if I get a ticket, but what about all those drivers on mobiles and texting. Who's out there catching them?

I do a lot of mtorway miles and the number of people I see using mobiles at the wheel is scanda:mad

You are right! WAY more dangerous than speeding imo yet they are almost always getting away with it!!! :(

dual carriage way after slow single carriageway, clear sunny day, van sitting there just picking people off one by one. Easy money unlike people on mobiles who are difficult to catch and PROVE they were using their mob at the wheel.

Thats life unfortunately.

The mobile phone ban was never going to be as inforcable as speeding.

As with everything though....

a) some people are capable and safe whilst speeding.

as are

b) some people are capable and safe whilst on the phone

People will always agree and disagree with both of those statements.....frankly I couldnt care less about either.

I could careless about people speeding or being on their phones.........proving my point is a different matter haha :geek:
