looking for a unit / garage / lock up

so mighty org this is a long shot.

looking to purchase some new toys next year and was wondering how much im looking at to rent a lock up, needs to be big enough for say 2 cars and 3 bikes with room to work

also what are the terms of renting? as in if i wanted to map it out as a workshop and made a fairly decent one what is stopping the owner booting me out?

i know no one can say for sure but whats a rough price?

It depends on the area m8 so there is no way of knowing what price you are looking at till you decide that, then it boils down to the going rate for the area. To stop the owner kicking you out you need a lease for x amount of years which protects you as long as you meet the terms of the lease. Don't forget though a lease works two ways, if you decide you don't want it any more you can't just walk away as you are tied to the lease and need to keep paying it until you can find some one else to take it over, again this would be at the owners discretion as he may have more security with you than the person that wants to take over. Don't just jump into something half hearted, make sure its where you want it and on your terms or it could get costly.

what about if i wanted to make improvements to the actual structure?

it would most likely add value to the building
