Is there room for one more?

I'm currently an SV Ecosse bod, but I'm moving to the Midlands at the beginning of December.

Don't know where yet but at least for the first six months I need to be within 30 miles of Brum.

Mind if I tag along on some of your rideouts?

Already met Pete and Lissa (great couple) at the Glencoe Massacre.

Cheers

Colin.

Hi Ralph/Colin

We're blushing now.:smt053:smt053

Looking forward to seeing you sooner than we expected.

A few of us are going to the Ponderosa on Boxing Day so maybe see you there weather permitting of course.

Good luck with the move

Hiya, as Pete says, a bit of a no mans land, you'll be right though :) A few of us meet at market harborough every now and then for a breakfast baguette (well worth it) and a natter, so see you around hopefully :)

Hiya Colin

No matter where you go, will be good to have another member on some rideouts.....you will also have the chance to ride on another hilly appendage to England.....Wales.

As peeps have said you can either go accross to Coventry / Rugby / Stratford etc. Or you can go south towards Halesowen, Droitwich, Worcester etc. To be honest they are all nice enough palces to live, I guess it depends on how close to Brum you want to be and rental prices etc.

Anyways, hope the move goes well and keep us all posted so we can meet up.

Hi Colin, as said in t'other thread congrats on your new job.

With regard to places to stay, nuneaton was one of the cheaper places when I was looking a few months back. Also you might want to PM Pedro, he was working in Coventry and was staying in a place for a few weeks whilst working.

Rideouts in the MIGTs area are few and far between. As are EAR rideouts. I tend to try and organise one every month but no-one tends to turn up or show enthusiasm for whatever reason. Which is fair enough. People like some and not others.

The best thing about going to a new area is going out and exploring roads etc. I'm often near junction 6 visiting my grandparents so gimme a shout if you wanna go for a little blast.
