the only pointy ive ever liked.

been letting myself get carried away and trying to decide what i would do if/when i get a payout for the accident.

options....get a mint low mileage curvy but will obvoiusly be older

get a newer pointy..

or something completely different...but i love the sv engine and the look of the curvy...

so i been looking for pointies that may change my mind...not found any untill i saw this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-SUZUKI-SV...1%7C240%3A1318

i think thats lovely!!

not trying to start a debate on pointy's vs curvys we all have our pref and been there done that....just thought id share my thoughs (not much else to do at the moment:crutches:

Pointies are too many in number these days. Not keen on the one you like on ebay..sorry :-( I'm not known to like pointies, but I do like a classy black one..but shhhhhh, or yellow!
TBH, although pointies, curvies all look the same in their own way( if you lined em up seperate lines together) I think curvies would get more of a look at, they are getting on a bit, but they are also getting less and less in number, so perhaps a little more noticeable...pointies are getting more and more in number......buy another curvy you may end up with something of a rarity....cause everyones crashing them these days!!:-(

A little note, ebay can supply you with a fair few colours of fairings for curvies.....but you can't find one in black ever!! So it seems the black ones are getting the rarer of them all....think I'll keep mine ;-)

Always curvy owners who are the first to cast a stone :)

Curvy shape was dropped for good reason in my opinion. Not a bad looking bike, but by christ has the shape dated. Standard looking ones in black and yellow just look like relics of 93. Ones which have been improved mechanically or aesthetically hold up well, but generally the only good thing about them is the frame and the engine.

Not really my opinion, I like all curvies. But if for some odd reason I felt the need to say something everytime this "debate" comes up, even if the o.p asks us to avoid it, I'd probably say something like that. :)

you could barter for it in the current climate, good chance you'd get away with it too. The low mileage ones are stunners, StartrekSteve has one of the last curvies and it was absolutley gorgeous in blue, looked like it was brand new out of the 2008 factory.

ermmmm no, you can't have DAve...not til hes been rebuilt at least, he needs TLC, and a new fairing panel..or at least this one painted again( its been blue at some point in its life!)
