Which brings up a good question.....What's the fastest you ever ridden ?

I managed to do 135mph in my old Chevy 1500 Scottsdale V8 beast (back when i was younger and dumber)

Lucky man!!

Had an indicated 160mph in my Skyline GTSt a few years ago - seen 155 on the speedo of the Kwak too...

So for me car has been faster than bike :)

'Indicated' 172mph on the 600rr

Fastest I have driven anything was 175mph in a Ferrar 360 Spyder, down the 2 Mile straight at bruntingthorpe.

Would like to hear interesting :) . It was scary seeing traffic in front coming up real fast at 135 mph and not knowing how the hell to slow down fast but not too fast as to not lock up and flip the truck over....i just can't imagine 165 mph on a motorbike..

Another nut (lol) what was it like? ...Do you all want to do it again? or was it just an itch to scratch and that's enough of that?

I personally think those speeds are scarier in a car - when I hit 160mph in my Skyline it was on a dual carriageway near to me late at night - a van pulled out to overtake a car doing about 70mph - I hit the brakes as hard as I dared and I could hear the tyres going ZZZZZSHHHHH trying to bite into the tarmac - looked down and I was still doing 120mph! Headed for the hard shoulder area whilst still braking like mad and luckily managed to get under the speed they were going and carried on - adrenaline pumping very very hard!

Needless to say I saw no need to do that again!
