Lost keys for my bike!
I've looked everywhere and cant find em! I don't know what to do now, it's a 2000 Kawasaki KMX, I think the lock is fairly simple could a locksmith mould me a new key or would I have to swap the locks?

Re: Lost keys for my bike!
lol, don't think that'll work as the key for the seat compartment wouldn't work to turn ignition on but it was exactly the same shape (but different teeth)

Re: Lost keys for my bike!
look harder, or bypass lock wiring under seat with a toggle switch (still secure with key seat and no outward signs.

Re: Lost keys for my bike!
Stop looking and give up, and then you'll find it.

Re: Lost keys for my bike!
You can tell the shape of the key from the code on the ignition barrel IIRC
|
Re: Lost keys for my bike!
there used to be a shop in edinburgh that could cut a key from the code on the barrel.
so it must be a common thing... also try ebay for a new one... |
Re: Lost keys for my bike!
I dont suppose anyone knows what key I need? so I can pick up a blank and try and get one made up. Should I just call a regular locksmith?
