Svpilot's top tip for the day...

Don't put a dishwasher tablet in you mouth, ok?
Especially the ones where the wrapper dissolves!

I was loading up the dishwasher last night (I'm a modern man) and got a tablet out of the cupboard.
Then I spotted the obligatory left-over teaspoon (plus tea bag) on the side.
Picked up teaspoon and went throw the teabag in the bin (compost caddy actually, because I'm green
too).

But the tea bag was stuck. Ah, I would need two hands for this operation.
So, rather than do the sensible thing and put the tablet down... I put it in my mouth.
Teabag binned, spoon in dishwasher, now for the tablet and...

Yaaaaoooooowwwwwww
I had a strange Kind of burning, slightly fizzing sensation in my mouth. It took me about a nano second to realise I had done something very stupid.
Pulled it out and...

Yaaaaooooooooooooooowwwwwwww a layer of skin from my lip came with it!
ow ow ow.

Any suggestions for a macho excuse for my burnt looking lips would be gratefully received.
No one has mentioned it yet, but I have heard the chuckles.

whilst loading the final teaspoon into the dishwasher it blew up then 100 kung fu fighting drug barrons blasted through the door and started to shoot the place up with flame throwers and you kung fu'ed them to death, swept up and put them in the bin

If I had the choice i'd be doing my dishes in a dishwasher.
I find washing dishes by hand one of the biggest waste of time in my day.

I hate it soooooooooooooo so much.

Biggest waste of time yes I can agree with you on that one. Living with 4 other students is a nightmare when it comes to washing up, it just accumulates after a few hours :-( One bloke can't wash up properly so everything has to be redone, the same bloke stores the entire cutlery, mug and plate collection upstairs and we have to actively search out - under mouldy crap and his tip of a room - any stuff we need. We try and do a big cleanup every week but it never lasts long  Sorry, that ended up as a bit of a rant!

As for nice jobs, cleaning in general is a pain, what exactly is your definition of a "nice" cleaning job lol!
