Re: sync-ing music to mp3 player?
400 tracks? steady tiger!!!;)
are you copying them in explorer or WMP? WMP should be able to sync with media devices automatically shouldn't it? as it tries to do so every time i connect a USB key or mp3 player to my system... |

Hovis, me old trout. If you are using Windows Media player, then what you need to do is create a 'Sync list' in there, then connect your MP3 player and if compatible it will appear in WmP. You then sync the sync list to the MP3 player. Job done.

unless you want to remove the mp3's from your harddrive and onto your mp3 player, then don't cut and paste, copy and paste instead.

Can you access it via My computer as a drive? If so you can also copy the tracks onto the MP3 player like that. Maybe a little quicker. |

Re: sync-ing music to mp3 player?
Sadly not. Its no different that transfering a file from one drive to another. It has to read the file, then write the file in a different location and each file is probably 3-4mb in size so thats a lot of data. 400 tracks in i tunes takes about 4-5 minsutes.
