I just don't understand it. she has spent a fortune of my money on posh fires. Yesterday I hung a new radiator and it is now snowing and bloody freezing.

I am sat here with a woolly jumper and fleece on, shivering

the reason. She has opened all windows, and patio doors complaining it is like a sauna in here. I don't understand her logic. Daughter and I are telling her it is cold. Shoved the thermometer under her nose to confirm it is not just us being soft. No she is determined that the snow is an illusion and it is baking.

turn the rad stats down, shut the windows. cooler house. also show her the cost of gas at the moment....

Odd, it's usually the other way round (women cranking the thermostat to 11 unneccessarily).

Fire/boiler are already off. I fired up the heating last night enough to bleed the system after installing new rad, but still need to run it in anger this year. Fire is obviously for visual impact only. Not to provide heating in this baking climate of ours.

Thinking of going to the library for a free warm with all the grumpy old men
