RST leathers

Hi good people of the org,
I am looking to buy a new 2 piece leather suit (at the bike show possibly). After looking round I have decided to go for an RST suit either the Rift 2pc or the Pro series 2pc in gun metal (if I can afford it).

So has any one got one of these suits, is it any good? comfy? etc. Any info before I go to the bike show next week would be gratefully received.:grouphug:

I have rst voltages.
Had then since february. Done about 6000 miles in them.
Nice and comfy. Not crash tested.
Tags on the sleeve zips have come off.
TBH they feel a bit 'cheap' and I wish I'd forked out a couple of hundred extra for some arlen ness.
The leather is pretty thick where it needs to be and they claim they use some sort of special thread for the stitching.
Triple stiched where it ought to be.

Have had a set of RST Rift since march this year, first impressions were good. Fit was important as I'm a bit broader than the Stoner/Rossi brigade. The leather has softened up nicely and is very comfy now. Ive fitted the back and hip protector plates into the handy pockets provided too which makes them feel well padded and you feel well protected should the worst happen. Have ridden in some heavy rain showers too this summer and the made a reasonable fist of keeping me dry too.

Only two critisims are the zip that attaches the jacket to the pants is fiddily and i dont think will last forever (but it hasn't broke yet) and the crotch area has some stretchy panels to allow you more freedom of movement on the bike but your knob doesn't half get cold! so its thermal shorts too.

Hi there I have the RST6-7 2 piece with the elasticated panels, very comfy and no need to break in either !

Not bad price either. Mid range
