My Wheels ain't round.
If you remember this post then you will remember me hitting a rather large pot hole. Well over the weekend I noticed some extra damage on my wheel. Namely that its no long round on the right hand side, which while it does not seem to affect the handling I expect it would fail a MOT. Though its not something I'm a 100% about, so I'm going to need to get it fixed. So as you can imagine I have questions -
1. Know any good places that fix wheels. I have 2 so I can get one sent off if needed. If its going to be expensive I might just buy another wheel. 2. Should I be speaking to TFL about this as the damage to my bike was caused by there roads, I have photo's of the holes, but will I need more? 3. My tyre is still round and the bike seems to ride just fine, but now worried about this should I be as it not like the rim might just collapse on me is it? |

Pursue TFL, the least they can do is cover the cost of repair |
Re: My Wheels ain't round.
Yeah like a*hero says. It's not worth paying £70 to fix though! New wheels are only £30.
