High level link pipe and can strap

I have managed to bag a fantastic bargain - £21 for a twin spout Art oval can. The thing is, I will need to get a link pipe and strap. The strap I assume should be easy to get (didn't know where to look though) but I very much like the look of the high level cans. From what I have been able to find while searching here;
- High level cans attach to the luggage tie down bar (?),
- The foot pegs need to be spaced
- And there is the potential need to remove and fit smaller indicators.
Are all these true? Or is there some where I can get a not-so-high-level pipe to avoid these problems. My other option is to wait for my petrol tank to be refitted and take it to a local fabricators to see what they can do.
Any help, photo's, links, being told to stop dreaming, etc all appreciated.
Thanks.

the bandit mania high level link fits the art cans but delivery is a pain in the a$$-you will probably need to twiddle with your indies, i removed my rear pegs because they were getting in the way but if you take pillions you might need to think again about going high

Cheers Husky. The only pillion I used to take was the wife, but she won't get on any more, since the children arrived. So I could just take them off with no real issues. Is it legal to have a rear seat and no rear pegs though?

you'll get an advisory at mot time-or get a cowl

you won't need to swap the original indies for small ones. Mine hasn't got them. There is a hairs width between the can and the indy, but they have been fine. I don't have the snow shovel on that bike though. I think my link pipe was custom made though and it just clears the rail on the subframe for bungees.
NEVER had a prob at mot time with no rear pegs and a seat either. I should imagine it depends on the tester...mines a very nice young man, and hes done mine for several years now. I've never had them on, although I do have them and the spacers somewhere.

Oh, and you jammy git for getting a twin port Art at that price..if you don't use it I'm sure theres a little wee blonde here that will take it off your hands ;-)

It helps loads. I'll print it off to give to the fabricators and hey should be able to give me a price. And answers another question about getting an off set oval hanging strap to give enough clearance.
Lovely :)

good good. Its not very clear how its hung on there. It goes up and under the bungee rail..err I think, and hides. The lad who owned it before was pretty good at making thinks look tidy. I can't find any closer shots
