TAFFIA meets 2009
 

right then, since sarah left the taffia the monthly meets have gone downhill, so i intend to start them back up, or at least try.

going to start by asking for sugestions on a vennue


so far we have...

the green lady (caerphilly) due to the bike nights, live music and BBQ they have (which is 2nd and 4th thursday of the month), and seems pretty central between cardiff and newport

the tredeger arms (newportish) our old vennue

other?

If a suggestion is made it must meet basic criteria. Must have a car park, and must have a beer garden for the smokers

once we have a few sugestions there will be a poll,

then a poll on the day to meet. (probably just once a month)

we used to have a good larf, it would be a shame to cancell them, so lets try to sort somthing out for when the weather picks up,

also, if the weather is nice, we can meet at the chosen pub, then go for a rideout

plus the weekend rideouts will start back up soon

first place sounds good to me. i am letting my stomach decide that though due to the BBQ prospect.

Any venue for me ,but thursdays are a bit tricky at the moment :(

I'd vote for the Tredegar Arms - 'cos I know where it is!! Caerphilly isn't that much further so I don't really mind. I would, however, prefer not to go into Cardiff.

Green Lady gets my vote for the venue.

I am away a lot for work and this will probably continue, at least until the end of this year, so any attendance by myself is likely to be sporadic at best. I will try to make a few week night meets, but won't usually know till the week before whether or not I'll be free. No real preference on nights.
