riding without plastics
 

is it possible to ride my sv curvy without any plastics on
front fairing ,mud guard tank cover and tail pod
the main tings im unsur of is the tail pod and metal tank cover
the reason i ask is i can get mt bike resprayed for and i anit joking a bottle of jd and a crate of beer by a professional sprayer ( he does aircraft normally) but my sv is my only transport so i would have to take it off to get done any advice would help

i was thinking they were built in to the fairing, but im wrong

you would not have front indy, but that could be easily sorted

i dont think it would do it any good in the wet though

and it has no tank cover, its just a tank?

You need to spray the tank as one piece. Can't split it up like that.

Ride it without plastics no problem at all, but remember to put the bolts and spacers back in on the tail pod so the seat has somewhere to rest otherwise it will break the wire loop thing underneath.

Also the lack of mudguard means you may drown.

Indis are easy just gaffer them on somewhere that takes your fancy. mirrors will bolt back onto subframe without the tupperware.

Yes it can be done, you have been given all the correct advice above. As for the tank rather than bodging another one on why don't you source a dented secondhand SV one to use temporarily?
