Stand up comedians

Whose your fave? Who've you seen live?

I've just been watching that "Live at the Apollo" and had a right old laugh at that Jason Manford from manchester, funny guy! Russell Howard must be on speed or something...

My housemate's just informed me he's coming to Aber, so might bimble along and get a ticket :-D Jimmy Carr's coming too at a different date but tickets are dearer for him so no chance  :)

Can't stand him (b-dum-tsch), not since that ridiculous excuse of a performance at the Diana tribute concert a few years back

I think that Michael Mcintyre is one of the funniest stand-up comedians. I hadn't heard of him before I saw him on "Live at the Apollo".

Dara O'Briain is superb too.

I missed that, is that when he had to improvise for a while? Animals, Politica and Fame are superb. When he talks about massively obese people going on about how they don't know how to lose weight. Has me in stitches every time i watch it!

I would love to go and see Bill Bailey. Also Lee Evans, if only he'd stop swearing a little. They both have the tears rollling I laugh so much

Improvise, that's what you could call it yeah. I prefer complete balls up. The whole idea behind stand-up comedy is being quick and witty and able to think crap up on the spot - even old stuff is good, anything.... he completely stalled and didn't know what to do, just didn't impress me!
