Bought 5L of oil from Halfrauds to do an oil change on the bike, strapped it to the bike, and rode home.

On the bridge, TWANG. Crap, I know what that is! Looked in the mirror & saw a Mondeo take avoiding action as my oil skidded down the road at him, then he started flashing his lights to tell me about it.

So I pulled off at the Llanfairpwll exit (I would of been going that way anyway), stopped in the layby & called PC Plod becuase I didn't fancy playing with 50mph+ traffic, and I last saw the oil container in the middle of the road! :shock:

When the copper arrived at me, with the oil, he wasn't best pleased. He'd managed to get oil all down his leg & all over his boots. Just as he was showing me this mess, another biker passed the layby laughing & shaking his head (I think he thought I'd been stopped for speeding). I laughed to myself, but Plod must of thought I was laughing at him. :lol:

I was then told in no uncertain terms, that I wasn't allowed to strap the oil container to the bike & continue on my way - the container had two holes in it. So I stashed it in a bush & went home to get another container to pour it into. Still haven't had chance to do the oil change yet. :(

No, I'd of been a pillock if I hadn't called Plod, and had gone to play with traffic to retrieve my oil. :p
