Exhaust cutting point?
...fitting instructions for a Scorpion Street Extreme exhaust?
Need to know how far from the weld you cut the exhaust Cheers |
Re: Anyone have...
It's normally 40 - 50mm from the weld

Re: Exhaust cutting point?
mister c is right, but you can see how much needs to be cut away by the size of the slip on section on the link pipe. It isn't an exact measurement as small adjustments can be made either way to get a good fit.
Good luck. P.S. make sure it's a square cut across the pipe and not angled. I measured and put some tape around to give a clear cut line. And you'll need to file the burrs off the stub to make sure the link slips on correctly. |
Re: Exhaust cutting point?
guys, thanks for the replies but i'm not asking how to fit the exhaust
i fitted a street extreme, removed it, fitted a beowulf can and have now removed that i'm selling the beowulf to someone and need to know where i cut my original pipe, so i can tell them, as the beowulf fits perfectly at that measurement i've now sealed the OEM exhaust back on mine to sell it so would prefer someone who has a set of street extreme instructions around to give me the measurement from the weld instead of pulling mine apart again... |
Re: Exhaust cutting point?
have just had a chat with a chap at Scorpion and he has sent me an email with the fitting instructions. drop me a PM and I'll send it over to you....

Re: Exhaust cutting point?
65mm from the weld at the bottom of the link pipe. This is for both the curvy and pointy models.
If anyone one wants the instructions I'll happily send them on, just drop me a line. Monkey |
