Paddock stand

Any issues in leaving the bike on the rear paddock stand for long periods? Just more room in garage on the stand rather than leant over.

Not at all no. The weight is on the rear shock rather than the wheel bearings. So positively better

Plus the tyre is off the ground, just make sure the front is on a piece of wood or similar, to ensure that it isn't in contact with concrete.

Doesn't do the tyre any good.

My front is on a piece of plywood

What kind of supports do you have on you paddock stand. Metal hooks or the rubber foot type?

Don't rely on the rubber ones for long periods, as you bike could slip off them. Replace them with the hook type and buy some bobbins for your swingarm.

Plenty on EBAY.

But better still get an ABBA stand, much more secure and useful than a paddock stand

+1 and it also takes all the weight of the rear shock too.
